Britannia Farms English Golden Retrievers
If you are thinking about a new addition to your family, and considering an English Golden Retriever, look no further!
Our dogs are mostly imported directly from Europe and champion bloodlines. They all pass health testing on hips and elbows, heart and eyes for congenital defects and abnormalities that could be passed down to their puppies.
Our sire, Indy from Kennel Dream Max in Sweden has also been cleared genetically of a disease that causes blindness in Goldens, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA).
Cancer is something that unfortunately does affect the Golden Retriever generally. Statistics show us that the English/European Goldens are significantly less likely to get cancer that their American counterparts. Research and testing is ongoing.
All of our English Goldens posess that wonderful temperament you look for in a family pet and expect from a Golden Retriever. Loyalty, eagerness to please, playful and above all, loving. This is what makes a Golden Retriever a consistently popular family choice (Top 5 in AKC list every year).

Two week Old Puppies
Our Pups are two weeks old today and are growing and developing nicely. All weigh between 2 and 3lbs, and eyes have started to open this week. Puppies are starting to stand and move around, albeit like drunk old men! First nail clippings today too.

Indy’s Fall Jaunt
This weekend was perfect fall weather to take Indy and ollie to the “Ken Lockwood Gorge” in Califon, NJ.
Indy needs an outing before becoming a Daddy. Our English Golden Retriever puppies are only two weeks away! Angie is getting bigger by the day.
“Angie” is confirmed pregnant!
Great news here at Britannia Farms – our gorgeous English Golden Retriever “Angie” was confirmed to be with pups today by our vet. Proud Father is “Indy”, who is celebrating this as his Birthday present!
“Paws on the ground” expected to be November 4th 2012.
