“Ruffael” is a 3 year old white standard poodle. He belongs to our good friend Karen.
Karen is a dog breeder – but not a poodle breeder, she breeds beautiful champion Leonberger’s. These are a giant size dog breed of German origin, and they are absolutely gorgeous!
Karen is also an outstanding groomer, for pets and competition. Ruffael is her personal pet, and competition dog. He grows his hair out, and then gets a really sharp and creative hairdo. After seeing Ruffael on Anderson Cooper Show, we fell in love with him. We approached Karen about the possibility if having Ruffael sire one of our litters for some beautiful English Teddy Bear Goldendoodles, and she agreed! We have been busy getting his health testing done so he will be ready for Devon when she comes into heat sometime in October.
We are very excited to have Ruffael, or ‘Ruffles’ as he is known become part of the Britannia Farms family.
