Britannia Farms is sorry to announce that Cora is retiring.
Cora came to us from Ukraine in 2013 with high hopes of some beautiful puppies. Unfortunately Indy did not breed with her.
Tsar arrived also from Ukraine, but puppies were not in Cora’s future. Unfortunately she has suffered a “Pyometra”. This is a potentially deadly infection of the reproductive system.. We caught it early enough to save Cora but not her future in breeding.
Cora has been spayed and is recovering at home with us.
Cora was our last breeding female English Golden Retriever, so at this time we will not be breeding English Golden Retrievers.
Cora will live out her retirement with friends of the family who live nearby, the Gyma Family.
She has given us so much love and joy, and we will still see her for visits in her new home.
