The Hurricane Sandy aftermath.
Firstly, all our prayers go out to the families and communities that have been so affected by this devastating hurricane.
Here at Britannia Farms we sustained minor damage to our house and kennel. All of our dogs were in the house at the time, and everyone is doing well despite having several days without power. We hope to get power back in the next few days.
Angie is still hanging in there as of today, her due date. She is acting like it won’t be long, so check back to hear about our new English Golden Retriever puppies.
Angie had her final visit to our vet today for an Xray to show a head count of English Golden Retriever puppies. Angie is due on November 4th, but things may happen earlier because she has a large litter.
The vet and I tried to count heads, and it isn’t easy, but the best estimation is between 10 and 12 PUPPIES
Hooray for Angie, but there is a long road ahead of her.
She is very patient, and she has Indy looking out for her!
This weekend was perfect fall weather to take Indy and ollie to the “Ken Lockwood Gorge” in Califon, NJ.
Indy needs an outing before becoming a Daddy. Our English Golden Retriever puppies are only two weeks away! Angie is getting bigger by the day.
Introducing another “Doodle”. Not a Goldendoodle, but a very special boy named Ollie.
Ollie is a Schnoodle. A cross between a Toy Poodle and a Schnauzer. Everyone who meets Ollie loves him, and wants to take him home. He is the king pin here at Britannia Farms, and is the only dog of the house allowed to sleep on our bed and go to Tractor Supply with us. Ollie never fails to let us know when we have visitors, and at only 13lbs, manages to keep all the dogs in line. Ollie loves playing ball and being chased by his buddies.
Yes, Devon our beautiful English Golden Retriever has been bred with Asher our handsome stud Poodle to make some English “Teddy Bear” Goldendoodles. The pups will be due mid December and will be ready to go home in time for Valentines day!
Here are the two lovebirds enjoying some quality time together during their Honeymoon this afternoon.
